With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, we have teamed up with Mental Mountains project. In this post, Keith (the founder of the Mental Mountains project) opens up about his experience with mental health. Keith talks about how imperfection in endurance sports can take a mental toll. But how showing up time after time creates resilience, knowledge and strength.

Eric believes healing involves both inner and outer work. The inner work focuses on reconnecting with the body, regulating the nervous system, and developing greater self-awareness. The outer work emphasizes healthier relationships, family systems, community, and living in alignment with one's values.
Before entering the counseling profession, Eric spent more than 25 years in the corporate world, giving him firsthand insight into burnout, chronic stress, perfectionism, workplace conflict, and the search for meaning. He believes every person possesses an innate capacity for healing and strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients can grow with authenticity, courage, and purpose.

Eric Jensema is the founder of Find Your Light, Shine Your Light and a psychotherapist-in-training who helps people reconnect with their authentic selves through depth, connection, and purpose. He is especially passionate about helping men build emotional awareness, strengthen self-compassion, and discover that vulnerability can be a pathway to resilience and meaningful connection.
Eric has humbly offered his services for free for followers of Mental Mountains Project, whether you personally are in need of healing and support, or know of someone that could connect with Eric. To Learn more contact us below and we'll do everything we can to support.
